cleaning
scrub any marks gently with a fine bristled brush, a little water and a gentle soap. allow to dry in a well ventilated area out of the sun.
take care to keep any leather elements dry.

reshaping
spray with cold water or submerge it completely for 60 seconds.
let the basket sit for a few minutes so the material has time to absorb the water, then shake the excess water out of the basket.
press and mould the basket to your desired shape or stuff a bunch of newspaper inside the basket.
let it dry in a place with good airflow but try to keep it off direct sunlight to prevent the colors from fading.

the elephant grass survives wet humidity and can easily dry when it gets wet - please ensure that it properly dries afterwards as to avoid funky smells of the wet grass
