we are proud to be carrying products by the anou cooperative - the only artisan-led and owned organisation in morocco that is 100% managed by artisan themselves. the anou cooperative managed to successfuly establish a business model without (western) middle (wo)men and is a great role model in (re-)shaping the narrative around their ancestral craft. leveraging modern techonology, the artisans are in charge of their own product photography and send images directly from their villages for sister*hood to carefully choose each unique item.
cooperative asnli is an up and coming cooperative located in the heart of where the famous beni ourain tribe once lived. generations later, asnli is carrying the tradition forward with beautiful beni ourain rugs, pile knots, and hints at the future of moroccan rug design.
